the owner and photographer of Ellen Christy Intimate Portraits. I’m a wife, mom of four, proud grandma of three (with one more on the way!), and a lifelong resident of the Elizabethtown area. My family and my roots keep me grounded, but photography has always been where I truly come alive.

For over 18 years, I’ve been behind the camera. With an Associate’s Degree in Visual Communications, certification as a Digital Production Artist, and five years of apprenticeship under a master photographer, I built my career with both education and hands-on experience. But in 2019, my heart led me in a new direction—boudoir photography.

Why boudoir? Because I believe women are the caretakers of the world, and too often, we put ourselves last. I wanted to create a space where women could see themselves differently, not defined by size, shape, age, or circumstance, but by their true beauty and strength. Boudoir became the way I help women step into self-love, confidence, and empowerment.

Every session is a chance to celebrate you, your story, your resilience, your perfectly imperfect self. My greatest joy is watching a woman’s eyes light up when she sees her images and realizes: “That’s me.” Because the truth is, every BODY is beautiful, and you get to define what beauty means for you.
