Whether you prefer a matching set or a mix-and-match look, the combination of a well-fitted bra and flattering panties provides a timeless, alluring appeal
Corsets
Corsets are synonymous with elegance and sensuality. They cinch the waist, creating an hourglass silhouette that highlights your curves. Available in various materials like satin, lace, and leather, corsets can be paired with a variety of lingerie pieces or worn alone for a dramatic effect. They are perfect for adding a touch of vintage glamour and sophistication to your session.
Bustiers
Similar to corsets but typically shorter, bustiers offer both structure and flexibility. They provide support and shaping to the bust while allowing more freedom of movement. Often adorned with lace, boning, and intricate details, bustiers are a fantastic choice for a confident and chic look.
Teddy
A teddy is a one-piece garment that combines the allure of a bodysuit with the delicacy of lingerie. It often features lace, mesh, and satin elements, creating a seamless and seductive look. Teddies are versatile and flattering, accentuating the body's natural lines while offering a variety of styles from sweet and demure to bold and daring.
Bodysuit
Bodysuits are a modern and stylish option for boudoir photography. They come in various designs, from simple and sleek to intricate and ornate. Bodysuits hug the body, highlighting your figure and providing a smooth, streamlined silhouette. They can be paired with accessories like garter belts and thigh highs for added flair.

Garter belts and garters add a touch of vintage glamour and seduction to any lingerie ensemble. Paired with thigh-high stockings, they create a captivating, classic look. These pieces can be mixed and matched with various lingerie styles to enhance your session's allure and sophistication.
Clothing
Clothing is a fantastic option for boudoir. It might sound counterintuitive but There are so many options for clothing that can be just as sexy, if not sexier than lingerie. Get creative and have fun with your wardrobe selection. Here are just a few examples…
T-Shirts: Simple yet sexy, a fitted or slightly oversized t-shirt, Jersey or tank can create an intimate, relaxed vibe. Paired with lingerie or worn on its own, a t-shirt adds a casual, effortless touch to your boudoir session.
Leather Jackets: For a bold and edgy look, a leather jacket is the perfect choice. It adds a sense of rebellion and confidence, contrasting beautifully with delicate lingerie pieces or even nothing underneath for a daring, fashion-forward statement.
Oversized Sweaters: Cozy and inviting, an oversized sweater brings a sense of warmth and comfort to your session. Worn off-the-shoulder or paired with thigh-high socks, it creates a soft, intimate atmosphere.
Ripped Jeans: Ripped denim jeans or shorts add a touch of casual coolness to your boudoir photos. Paired with lingerie or a simple top, they offer a stylish and modern twist, showcasing your personality and confidence.
Now that you know a little more about the different styles, let's find the perfect one for you!
‘Abs’olutely the Right Lingerie
If you want to show off those hard-earned abs and a little more skin, bra and panty sets are a fantastic choice. Consider the style of panty you choose (think about the coverage) and what type of bra suits you best. It’s tempting to grab your everyday bra, but let’s aim for something a little sexier and special—something designed to be seen!
Hey Ma’am… Need a Lift?
Whether you've had a baby, lost some weight, or just want a little boost, finding the right bra is key. While it's tempting to reach for push-up bras, I suggest trying demi-cup or underwire bras that offer strong support without adding too much size. This typically creates a more flattering proportion. Good support is more important than padding any day. That’s not to say there aren’t great push-up bras out there—just be mindful of how any bra fits and flatters your unique shape.
‘Let’s Get to the Bottom of This
If a great tush shot is on your list, I recommend bottoms that show just enough but not too much. I love cheeky or Brazilian bottoms over thongs. Many teddies and bodysuits are cut in the back to show off some tush, making them a great option too! (Beware of string teddies though—they don’t always flatter!)
Legs, Legs, Legs – Lots of Options
We all want long, gorgeous legs. Here are a couple of tips for that! Look for high-cut undies, teddies, and bodysuits. The higher the leg opening, the longer your legs will look. Also, bring a pair of skin-colored shoes with you. They’ll make your legs look even longer.
‘Need a Lift But Don’t Want to Show Too Much Skin? Bustiers Are for You!
Bustiers offer amazing support while giving you a little more coverage, all while flattering your shape.
Want to Arm Wrestle?
Arms are sometimes a concern for women. Let’s ease that concern. Look for long-sleeved bodysuits or throw a crisp white button-down over some killer lingerie. Presto—no worries needed.
Embracing Your Beauty with Style Choices
Shoes
Please bring at least one pair of black heels. If you want to bring more shoes, that would be fantastic! Just keep in mind, that the higher the heel—the better!
Jewelry
Feel free to bring any jewelry you might want to wear. I can help you choose what looks best with your outfit and what will flatter you depending on the poses we’ll be working with.
Props
If you want to bring a prop or two to show off your interests and personality, that's great. Just be careful that it doesn’t get too costume-like. Less is always more.
Colors
Most colors work really well on camera. Some that do not include fluorescent colors Unless you are doing the Neon set then it works perfect, and sometimes red. If you like red, look for a deeper red—something not too bright. Black is always classic and looks great on everyone.

How to Do Coverage, Correctly
Even though boudoir is about shedding layers, I understand many women don’t want to show too much skin or are concerned about certain parts of their body. Here are some tips to cover, boudoir style.
If you’re worried about showing your stomach, think of shapewear (the gorgeous kind, not the kind that hurts!), slips, bustiers, and corsets. A beautiful lace robe over a bra and underwear is a great choice. So is a plain white tank top and lacy undies.
Brands
Here are some brands I love that deliver great quality and fit:
Thistle and Spire
Adore Me
Victoria’s Secret
Sassy Mama Lingerie
Honey Birdette
Be Prepared with Outfits
Always bring more outfits with you than you plan to wear. This way, we have plenty of options! I also recommend bringing at least one outfit that’s totally out of your comfort zone. You don’t have to wear it, but you just might want to!
Embrace Your Confidence: Going Nude
Going nude is always an option in every session, and many clients choose to add a few nude shots at the end. It’s a beautiful way to embrace your confidence and celebrate your body. Whether you decide on full nudity or a more suggestive approach, we ensure a comfortable and supportive environment, capturing your beauty in the most tasteful and empowering way.
